As long as we are on Torsion bars.....
OK. Some of you need to relax with your torsion bar adjustments. Why do I say this you ask?
Yesterday in my area, I saw a white H3 with it's torsion bars cranked so much the front end was maybe 1 to 2" higher then the rear. I thought maybe it had heavy cargo, but when I pulled up next to it, the back was empty! It almost looked like he wanted to fly with the angels he was looking so far up into the sky.
The rear suspension was at normal height.
I thought "I wonder if this guy read this on our forum"
Note: If there are any of you members with a white Hummer H3 in the Plainfield/Joliet IL area and have cranked your torsion bars more then 3 turns per axle, for the love of (fill in blank here), PLEASE turn them back! You are going to destroy your CV joints, seals and whatever else that can break because of it.
Thank you for your cooperation
