I just figured I'd start a poll on this.

I read somewhere that about 20% (don't hold me to that number)h of H3s were equipped with lockers. I've seen about 2 H3s for sale that actually have lockers & the V8 (which probably account for 10% of that 20%).

So how many use or don't use them?

 

My buddy has a Rubi with lockers in both ends and since we wheel together alot. I would use them if I had them

 

the real off road guys will tell you whats what, but i think they are used most for slow crawling over big stuff, rocks. its hard to beat a stock h3 in snow with traction control no locker. lockers in snow will always spin a wheel if they are locked just when turning it will slip and loose traction.
it does it on wet grass.
spend time playing and learning what works where and you will know what you need.

its fun to rip up the yard on dry grass with all locked turning tight circles!!

 

You will want them when you start crawling and start getting a wheel (or two) up in the air. Nothing like getting almost over the top of an obstacle and one wheel in in the air spinning and the diagonal wheel looses traction stopping your progress.
