The RC kit you are asking about is really a Colorado/Canyon kit that RC mistakenly assumes works just as well for the H3. You get T Bar Key "spacers" and a set of shackles for the rear. $69 is not going to recreate the H3 front suspension. Look at their description.... they claim you have plenty of room to run up to 32" tires. Do you want to add lift to the rear as well?

As has been said here already, THE MAX FRONT END HEIGHT FOR THE H3 IS 23.5". This cannot change until you get a real lift kit that drops the the T Bar location and front diff.... or unless you do a 1" body lift.

Doesn't matter if you use the OEM keys, brand X keys, or a spacer on top of the OEM keys, 23.5" is always going to be the max. There will always be some guy that is driving the pavement proclaiming "my front end is 24" (or more?)", and many of the people who tried that in the past got away with it for quite a while until front suspension components went to chit. Happens even faster if you wheel with the front adjusted too high. All it takes is $1500-$2000 in repair tuition and you will quickly be educated enough on why 23.5" is the max.

You asked for some advise, we've been giving it. You can do whatever you want with it.

THANK YOU!
(applause)

I will get another "crank" to 23.5 (and alignment) and live with the results. i'm gonna put a roof rack on so maybe that will drop the back a little..

*ps, i "tilted" the camera on this photo so you cannot really see as much sag... but look at the parking lines and the difference in fender gap.
thanks people!

Are your nerf bars bent, or is that an illusion? Looks like they are lower in the rear than up front.

Good looking truck! I think Bunger may be on to something.... the nerf bars add to your perception that the front is much lower than the rear.

Rock rails would clean that all up.

Ex#1. I don't need to put ball bearings in my crank case to know it's not a good idea.
Ex #2. I don't need to put power steering fluid in my Coolant Reservoir to know that's a bad idea also. I've seen and heard about other IDIOTs doing it. Doesn't mean I should....

I'll stick with the guys who have done it, wheel their stuff, show pix or video of why something works or does not and isn't afraid to say when they are wrong.

SEE... WHAT HAD HAD HAPPENED WAS... I went off-road one time, and this big azz rock/boulder was in the way. I got past it though and me and the obstacle went our separate ways. That was literally right after i got the truck.. and I had gone out by myself, so I didnt have any other choice than to get from between a rock and a hard place (pun intended).

RE: the nerf bar... I have been meaning to get that replaced. I suppose it does add to the perception of more sag in my front. hmmm... who has nfab steps for sale? LOL!

*TAINTER and bunger thanks for the props, ive been battling on changing the color. I originally wanted black, but this gray/tan shade H3 has grown on me!

That's exactly why everyone who seriously wheels offroad REMOVES the nerf bars.
They can get damaged, but worse, they can CAUSE damage. I have seen one bent back so far that it punctured the rear tire.

I hate nerfs. H3's look better without them.
