Interesting take on things.. You'd think that by driving a Hummer that some of the money I spent on it would be going back into RnD to help make the GI Hummers better and safer vehicles..

I haven't ran into to many haters yet.. Have a few folks that ask me about the mileage, and are surprised when I tell 'em I've getting 15 - 18 even with the 35" tires.. About the same mileage as any truck in the same weight class.. (while I still think it could be better, it ain't bad)..

The only known bird I've got was actually from a guy in an H2 that ran a stop sign and cut me off.. I guess he just assumed I was gonna flip him off for it, so he figured he'd get his in first...

 

most H2 owners in my areaare diks. i stopped waving to the ones in my area because all i got was a look of either surprise or disgust. guess they didn't know what kind of truck it was with all the mud on it.[8D]

 

I've found that I really don't get many dirty looks from anybody.

 

I own a Jeep XJ (bought it new in 1988 and now it's my fishing vehicle) and a H3 and I love them both.

My wife owns an 06Jeep Liberty Renegade, I own an 07 H3.
She gives me dirty looks once in a while but it has nothing to do with my owning a Hummer

I actually like the way they look side by side in our driveway,
hers is shiny detailed black and mine is usuallymud covered black.
I'l need to take a pic of them side by side, and if I can talk her into it,
both offroad covered in mud.
