Hey all, after being inspired by H2sut build to dig in hard on my H2 project (if you havent seen his build, you should)...
So, I started to work on a project/parts list for my Rig.
The issue I found is that in the light of our trucks slowly growing old, replacement parts getting more and more harder to find. If you are lucky to find a used replacement, they are usually worse than what we are replacing. If we can find a decent looking part, someone is asking almost up to 5-6 times the original price of the item new...

This got me thinking, since I know that many of the parts do come from other GM vehicles, maybe we could put together a list of parts, part numbers or vehicles.....
(For Example: I just read that MixMan was using seat warmer buttons from a Silverado)

Of course, also, if you found that some parts can be upgraded to have more features or less, or whatever... that would be appreciated too (referring back to MixMan, I believe he used a different seat warmer button that has memory functions, where our OEM buttons do not)

So I thought it would be a good Idea to post key words, model names, vehicle years, part numbers, and OEM cross over upgrade ideas to help us keep our Rigs fresh.

This could get interesting. Although I am not sure how many members are tearing into their rigs anymore. I consider mine an on going project lol.
