I HATE our president who, being such a moronic incompetent as....e, makes the rest of the world believe that the French people are as stupid as he is.

I suppose some of you has heard what our ' beloved' president said to the american media yesterday.
in a nutshell he said:
'' if Iran has only one or two atomic bombs, there is nothing to worry about'
How in hell a democratic country leader can say that?
in my book, Chirac is now level with Chavez and Poutine.
I am ashame for my country and my fellows frenchmen.
Plse do not believe that the majority of the french are following our governement ideas IT'S NOT THE TRUTH.

Well, sorry guys for that but I had to vent....

 

JM...you too are a victim of your government and the media just as we are! (Not saying if I agree OR disagree with ours, as that's a whole nother can of worms I don't care to open here personally) But, I'd like to think that many of us judge "not the people"..but "the PERSON!" I also learned long ago that one cannot believe the media in most anyinstance to be accurate with their distorted sense of sensationalism... So, vent on!

 

I thought Chirac was strongly opposed to Iran developing atomic or nuclear weapons. Has he changed his position?

 

Yes, he did yesterday, and changed again this morning saying that his words were misunderstood[:@].

The truth is that Iran is one of the most dangerous country of this already very dangerous world.We should just stop rattling our sabers and kick their sorry asses now and for good.
I perfectly understand that the USA can't do it alone right now but then what the use of the UN and the security council?.

Of course Iran is 'buddy-buddy' with China and NO ONE wants to upset China those days, obviously they have a veeeery big check book.
Add to that the fierce coomercial competition between the US and EEC and you've got what is happening right now ' Real Politik' at his worst.

 

How in the HELL can you misunderstand a DIRECT statement like that? What an idiot (Not you JM ). It only takes one atomic bomb to wipe out an entire generation of a culture, if not the entire culture itself. This world is heading down the path to utter self-destruction. My wife and I are starting to wonder if we really want to bring children into a world that is so screwed up, but then again, the world needs more good people in it with morals and values, and isn't controlled by money and power hungers. It's very disturbing sometimes.

 

Of course Iran is "Buddy Buddy" with China.....China is their primary supplier of nuclear capabilities. As long as Iran keeps giving China money for their budding nuclear program then China will always support them.

I say if Iran has atomic weopans but has no means to deliver them to the USA...then we (Americans) should sit our fat a$$es back and watch them blow up a country they can reach.....may seem harsh...I agree, but then maybe the UN and security counsel will stop acting like a bunch of scared women and actually BACK UP the USA when we are trying to save others lives.

 

That's basically why the US was so digusted with Chirac, the SOB was in kahoots with Saddam the whole time the UN was leveling sanctions and resolutions against Iraq..

 

Don't forget that China is a PERMANENT member of UN security council.
