Well I was excited because I was gonna suprise the wife and be home for Christmas but even more I got wheels for the H2 off ebay. Well the dude "whit1" had 2935 feedbacks since 1998 and he had 100% positive. Well I sent him a bank money order for $1150 that he quickly cashed. Then 10 days later ebay sends me an email that they suspended his account. Everything he had either sold or bought had disappeared as well the possibility of leaving feedback for it.For almost a month now the wheels have still not arrived. He finally replied and told me he sent them USPS. I went to my post office and they said there would be no way USPS could ship something that big. Now I confront him on all this and nothing. I talked the best I could from Iraq with ebay about this and I think the support people are based here in Iraq too. I am just ticked because I trusted someone and got screwed and I had just saved enough to finally get wheels and it was my only present. Well if you see that name ebay is still letting him do his thing, why I dont know because that amount is considered a felony. Oh and he is buying tons of stuff for a 1957 T-Bird, probably with my money.

that sucks!!! But he can send them USPS if he sends one wheel per package....I have got rims this way before...so maybe he did send them, hopefully it will work out for you.

 

You can search Ebay for him as a seller. If he has auctions you can ask questions that can/will be posted on his auctions. Maybe you can bomb his auctions until he sends the wheels or money. Didn't happen to buy insurance did you ?

 

Nah , no insurance I usually only do it paypal so I am insured but I figured since this guy had that much positive and had been around that long I could trust him. I cant let it go especially since I was a cop for 10 years, so I guess I am gonna have to pay dude a visit on my 2 weeks of leave just to either get my money back or confront the guy.

 

I think maybe someone hacked his account? I checked on his FEEDBACK and not ONE item has he EVER SOLD!!! Only purchased!!!

Maybe someone phished him id and listed a bunch of stuff??

That is pretty Terrible to rip someone off like that, especially when stationed in Iraq. I would track his *** down!!!!

 

Thats what I thought when I got no response. Even more weird is about two days after he cashed my m/o he listed a set of rims for sale from arizona. He skipped states or what? Only thing is his name matches the signature and address he signed on the m/o because I got a copy of it with a phone number on it. I am just lost as to what to do. If ebay knows it was hacked then they should help out some how but they are denying helping me at all.
