Just did mine, raised the front 2". Took about 8 turns on both sides, didn't think that it would take that much. I don't know about a better ride, but it is more "bouncy" if anything. It's too dark to take a pic right now, will get one tomorrow. Thanks for the tip on how to do lift it.

8 turns - it seems to be to much. From my experience, 2 turns (each side) is the max you can do without hurting your on-road ride quality, not to mention the off-road front suspension flexibility.

Problem is that after I did 2-3 turns, it didn't hardly do anything to the front. It raised it around 1/2", I did this with on the ground, not sure if that made a difference or not. Didn't seem to hurt anything, drove it around last night and put a good 50 miles on it. Just seem to need to adjust the headlights.

You know, sitting here looking at my post. I think that I may actually have the front TOO high now. Kind of looks like I'm getting ready to do desert running, and I live in Ohio.

Vader, I would love to see steep by steep pic of the install.

There really wasn't anything to it. I pulled it into the middle of my driveway, measured from the bottom of the tire to the bottom of the fender. Came out to be about 36 1/2" on passenger and 36 1/4" on drivers. Then I crawled under it with a breaker bar and 1 1/16" socket and turned the key bolt CW 2 turns at a time then got out and remeasured it. I swear it took me almost 8 turns on both sides to get it to go 38 1/2". I JUST went out and cranked it down about 2 turns and made it an even 38" on both sides, the rear measures at 39". The ride is actually softer, almost bouncy but not bad. Nothing compared to the CJ7 that I had. Turning radius wasn't affected. Just need to adjust headlights, was flashed for highbeams 4 times last night after I did it. When I asked the service guy why they were set higher in the back, he gave me some story about it helping with MPG, the aerodynamics. They do it so that they can stay competitive in the market with the MPG. I don't know, that's what he said.

Steep by steep would be difficult but step by step may be doable!
