Yeah, I gathered that about measuring. I remeasured from the center of the hub to lip of the fender well and got 23 1/2". It's at the dealer right now while I'm out of town and they are double checking everything for me. They don't seem to have any issues with the fact that I did it, thought that was good.
Oh, one interesting thing did happen while I was there. They have 3 FJ Cruisers on the lot, I asked why they were "housing" the enemy and they said that they were all traded in on H3's. The one with the most mileage only has 700 miles on it. Just wanted to share that, thought that it was funny.

 

its better to get the ready lift kit for the front, it has new shock mounts and new keys

 

Thanks for the comments guys! The difference with the upgrades is amazing! Probably have received more comments in parking lots, etc in the last week than I have in the last year of owning it stock.

 

Leveling it makes a big difference! The stance makes it look meaner!

 

I traded my FJ for my H3 as well....but that was after 43k miles. The dealer made it a point letting me know that they were going to wholesale it asap to keep the enemy off the lot. The FJ was actually a fun vehicle (no flames/don't hate) but I wanted 4 full doors and a little meaner stance. Mine is an everyday driver and I am in sales (you can figure what I sell based on screen name, lol)......I've had my H3 a little over a month and have over 32oo miles already.

 

I used the truxxx kit and 285's and it's looking REAL Good sorry I don't have pics yet!!!

 

UPDATE: Just got it back from the dealer, replaced my headlight and adjusted them both; reinstalled the headliner (wasn't "snapped" into place apparently); changed the oil and put synthetic in it; had the front windows tinted to match the back; and had it aligned. Here are the numbers incase anyone was wondering, just from cranking my t bars:

CAMBER: Left -1.3 Right -0.8
CASTER: 2.8 2.4
TOE: 0.640.59

CROSS CAMBER: -0.5
CROSS CASTER: 0.3
CROSS SAI 0.7
TOTAL TOE: 1.23
