In this case i believe there is reason (just, sound reason) to go for the '05.

For one example (and probably enough of an example), in 2003 the H2 was WORST of any vehicle in JD Powers initial quality survey. Today its 3rd best. The factory at which the trucks were made was rushed into action on a very rapid schedule, and i think it showed in the early '03 trucks. Today, AM General does really good work & i think the newer trucks are a little better constructed.

 

I didnt get the sut because it sold FAST. however I did get an suv and so far, I love it....
