hummer h2 rear hatch & door handle replacement couple ?s

hatch:

1. is this chrome handle plastic underneath chrome? (like the fakechrome on hood latchs)
2. will the spring be attached? Like the door handles are?
3. (not that I’m into bling bc I’m not I’m into functionality an less prone to breakage) is this chrome more durable than the black plastic handle?
4. anyone bypassing the weak handle an extend the hatch release lever to outside hatch?

Initially I thought the handle was built into the insert that holds the license plate.Kindof like the broken door handle.

door handle:
the Cadillac escalade door handles appear the same as the H2s the handles housing appears a tad rounded.
1.are the escalade handles interchangable w/ the H2s?
2.are theescalade driver door handles lock cylinder the same as the H2s?

haven't taken either handle off yet.
Thanks for any tips on replacing these handles.






I believe the 07H2 only had one keyed door lock so this must be missinformation?
