Default Hummer H1 with new engine rebuilt. Fuel lift pump not activated

Hi guys

Im new here. But im having issues with my hummer.
I just rebuilt my engine wiht new block and etc. And now as im trying to start i dont hear the fuel lift pump as i turn the key.

I checke the fuses and all seems to be in order.

Take a look at your Oil Pressure sender/switch also.

Check to see that your lift pump is getting power, Jump the pump with a 12v source to see if it powers up. A defective Oil pressure switch on some models will prevent the pump from working.

ok thank you, that maby explains why i didnt get any pressure on the gage while i was cranking.....
