A cheap alternative is to use an FM transmitter for ipod. I hd one for my company car, stuck in my Hummer for a long trip to Moab and I was impressed. Sure it isn't digital but it wasn't bad either, especially considering is was about $25.00

Muddydawg75 - my manual says B1 is "Battery Positive Voltage". I haven't hit it with a meter. Do you know if this voltage is constant (never shuts off) or is switched? It sounds like it is going to be constant.

Hummer Driver - while the FM transmitter is cheaper (and easier), you'll really appreciate the sound quality. I have a Pioneer unit in my Explorer, and you definitely will love the sound and the ability to control the iPod through the head unit.

Does your AXXESS adapter have a separate ground along with power? I have the DICE adapter. It has only has power (besides the OEM head unit connectors). So, I am curious if all these other similar adapters have a ground. I could throw a filter at it. I have sent an email to DICE tech support on this and a display issue, but they aren't very speedy in their responses. The web site says 1-2 business days. The last question took almost 2 weeks. Buyer Beware

My AXXESS plugs into the factory harness with a pigtail for the AXXESS Digital interface. My XM plugs into the AXXESS, along with the Ipod. It couldn't be easier.

Yeah, sounds it. I believe this is the unit JPCustoms sells. I had called them last year, but I think it was only available for the H2. Mine wasn't difficult to install just add it into the 24-pin harness and attach power. Probably will need to open the dash back up and add a filter or swap my power source to get rid of the alternator whine. It would have been nice to have a ground. Curious if the USA Spec model has a ground.
