Can anyone give me an idea about how long the hitch should be and the drop down 2 or 4 in. to be able to slip into my receiver and still clear my outside spare tire. Does the ball have to clear my spare tire or can it sit under the spare tire and still be able to make turns with my boat and not hit anything (meaning the H2)

 

On a drop hitch the ball will sit under the spare, and you will be fine for towing.
