You can buy a used triple 502 chevy powered 35'+ offshore for that and run 80mph at 10,500 lbs in 6 foot chop, why fart wit that 27' pretty boy foreign terd? I have a 14,500lbs side lift hoist in my back yard, I wouldn't want that silly thing on it.

I would spend less money on a 38 Fountian Lightning

http://www.fountainpowerboats.com/bo...38ltg_over.asp

go faster and look way better!!

As far as the bass boat they are damn fast on smooth water. Most Power boat are at home in 3 to 6 footchop and actually get more speed.

I do not have a bass boat. Got an aluminum boat for fishin, love them Walleye. Like HummNBoatin pointed out, Bass Boats are wicked fast when it's nice and flat. I thru a freekin rod out my port engine a few years back with my 34 Scarab (Twin 454 400HP TRS, 3 blade SS props.) stringin one of those out on a glass like morning on the Lake at 72mph. Ouch, that hit the wallet. If I would have had that 8500# shoe in 4-6 foot water the hull gets up and runs accross the waves like a freight train on rails, don't even spill my Gingerale sitting on the flat dash out of the cup holder, and can touch 78mph! How fast can yah get thet Bass boat going in 6 foot seas??

The Scarab is gone, moved on. Offshores rule!!!!!!! [8D] I can be sitting at the Sand Bar in Ontario sipping a Blue waiting on my Burger40 min.s after I dip the Hoist, I do not care how kicked up the Lake gets. Got 440 square miles of playground out my back door!
