Default Hi and prospective new owner

Hi there,
I am looking at buying a 06 H3 with 56K miles on it. Heated seats, sunroof, chrome... for 18K.
I have test drove one and I liked it but I just figured what better place to get a baised answer but here. Actually I am a member of fourms for all my toys so here I am.
Anyways are there things I should check out specificly? I will be pulling a 18' fishing boat or a trailer with a couple motorcycles or snowmobiles on it, this won't be an issue will it?

Thanks guys for the help!!
Matt

I just paid $20,250 for an 06 with 50K and lux package, so it sounds like a fair price. How are the tires? Leather interior? Monsoon radio?

Can't speak for the towing. I'm still learning what mine can do!

I'd be thinking of an '07 or newer for the slightly larger (3.7l vs 3.5l) engine. That probably will not cost a whole lot more, but if you are towing regularly I'd think the extra would be worthwhile.

If you can afford it, the H3 Alpha with the V8 will probably tow a lot more energetically.

Aside from the 3.7, you guys mentioned that the warranty is better for an 07 vs 06?

I too am in the 07 vs 06 boat, but it always seems that an 07 can be found for about the same price.

I would avoid an 06 ( cylinder head problems and other issues) go with an 07 and up.

Check if the head has been replaced already.

Thanks guys
I think I own it. The price on this was too good. I paid less than 21 with a 4 yr\48K mile drivetrain warrenty. the warrenty really prushed the price tag higher than I wanted but....
I am sure there will be times I wished for more HP but I do a lot of regular driving so the MPG is important so the alpha was out.
