The Grill is line-xed, and yes it's rough. I took it to a Line-x shop for $80.00.

I think I want to get mine painted smooth to match the rest of the exterior paint, but the grill doesn't look like it will want to accept paint very well

You can buy the black painted grille from the dealer if you dont want to line-x it. Not sure how much it costs.

just out of curiosity, is there some kind of mustang/H3 owner correlation? because if you count the car I have on order, there are 3 mustang guys in here... interesting [8D]
