The clip in the back door of my H-3 where the jack is located keeps coming undone. The tab keeps popping out no matter what I do.
Has this happened to anyone and is there a simple fix ?

Not a big deal, just annoying...

The way those little clips on the side cargo doors and the jack door work is its a little plastic pole that goes through a rubber/silicone "bulb" and when its pushed in the bar pulls up and squeezes that "bulb" flattens it some and prevents the door from opening. If your saying it keeps popping it either means that rubber spacer of sorts is either getting over compressed giving it the ability to pop back the clip or there a issue with the fitting itself. I would suggest trying to get a door from a wrecked h3 or see if you can find the door somewhere online It shouldn't be expensive. It also depends on how much it bothers you lol and if its worth changing.

 

I have had one of these plastic clips break - does anyone know where to pick up a spare - annoying when one door is only attached via one clip!!

If I remember correctly, there's a plastic adjustment nut on the end of the post. You can tighten the nut, which puts some 'pre-compression' on the rubber bulb, which in turn gives it a larger diameter when you flip the lever. This should take care of your problem.
