Hi guys, 2007 hummer h3. I put airdock intake, new iridium sparks, k&n oil filer and Jet performance Air mass sensor.

problem 1:
Today we had a crazy rain storm, and I have noticed water coming from this spot that showing in the pic!!!! i freaked out! i never seen it happen before. i did a a lot of research and some people say it might be ur sunroof leaking and to check dain and some sort. where do you find that? and how to fix this damn water leak??


problem 2: same day, i was driving and check engine light came code 0171
went to auto zone and they told me that my vapor can purge valve is bad and need to be replaced! is that true? or might be another problem? and they also suggested to run fuel system cleaner, so I got a bottle and dumped it inside the gas tank and drove home. here i am :/ bad day today

 

sunroof drains or lights if you have them

 

What you mean by lights??? How the sunroof would leak if it's closed? How water sneak inside?

 

Sunroof seals are NOT water tight. They weep water into the sunroof pan then the 4 drain tubes carry it away . Plenty of posts on the fix.

Purge canister could just be a code from the gas cap not sealing. Could also need a new canister. YouTube on how to purge the canister so you don't have to buy one.

Thanks doc k will fix that leak today but what about the code. I did research and really couldn't find much! Some people say run injector cleaners and some say run higher fuel I have injector cleaners there already I am gonna try to rub higher fuel but I also noticed that the rpm act little weird when j start the car it like goes up and down....

 

i was reading this article and i am having problem getting it done, i checked the water drain, the driver side was good, but the passenger side is blocked. so i am gonna have to find a way to do that setup in the thread. i am not a hummer expert and i been having issue getting it done
