yesterday i turned my truck on via the remote start and it did turned on but one i put the key in it the truck turned off and i try using the key to turned back on and the check engine light turned on i try turning it on and off and nothing so i drove it home and on my way home i stop at burger king and check the engine oil and when i went back inside the truck and turned on the light didnt turn on SHOULD I BE WORRY ABOUT THIS MY TRUCK HAS 63,400 MILES ?

 

Just go to Autozone and have them pull the code. If you have plenty of oil and oil pressure you will be safe to drive it. Just so you know the Check Engine light can mean a thousand different things.

In my experience Check Engine is almost always something to do with emissions.....

 

I had this problem with remote start and I would pull the positive battery cable for about 30 min. and it would reset. It only happen to me when i used the remote start when it was Hot 85 plus!!!

 

did you just get gas,did you not twist the cap enough,it will do it

 

i got it it was the baterry that had to be replace
