The H2 is nice but I have a kid to get through college.
I am gonna go for it. It's just too cool not to have. There seems to be,on this site alone, plenty of folks that are happy.
Should I get the chrome wheels?

I've not heard of ANY discounts on the H3 or buying incentives of any kind...
BTW...I'm Awesome...The other guy is more than likely the Pretty one.[sm=grin.gif][sm=youreright.gif]

NO CHROME WHEELS, NO CHROME WHEELS. for pete's sake, put those on a caddy, or a jag even, but not a hummer. black wheels are just too cool. and when you cover them with mud, you'd never notice anyway.
but, on a serious note, i went with black because they were steel instead of alloy. when i ding one on a boulder, i can bend it back. or if i can't bend it back, it's only $80 or so for a new one, not $400 or more. still, they look damn pretty on the bus . . . .
[sm=noooo.gif] on the bling !

RE: HELP! Should I or Shouldn't I??
those black wheels do look pretty dang good! but so do chrome ones.
The local dealer (i didn't test drive an H3) offered some comments about the H3 for off roading. His take was that the bulk of the H2's prowess is intact, and that it did a bit better on some of the things he'd tried (he mentioned rock climbing). His explanation related to torque to HP ratios and so forth.
The H3 is still good-lookin, i think, and (from just sitting in one) it retains that nicer-than-you'd-think inside experience. I didn't test drive one, however.

a bit closer, but they're kinda dirty. although the spare is still clean in this shot. and they're tucked into a stock suspension, no lift.
