Help - Problem with 4WD not unlocking
Well, when I get back from my vacation, I'm going to start the agonizing process of removing the pin striping and taking the mods off. Since it's leased, I don't think they'd like that all too much ;-) I hope my heat gun is up to the task.
We might get a 2, but I dunno. We'll see what happens. We'll probably wait a few months and see what the HX and H3T look like, or whatever the hell they are now. I guess the H3T is the SUT H3 and the HX is that Wrangler wanna-be that will be out in 2010, which there is no way in hell I'm waiting that long. The H3T would be kinda cool, ya know, an automatic my wife could drive, and no crappy problems.

Mike, the dealers won't care what you have on your truck when you turn it in at lease end...hell I've never even had them go out to look at it!! They really don't care as they go to auction anyway...most franchised GM dealers do not sell lease give -backs.

Not only that, but let's say you get to lease end and you try and negotiate the buy out price. GM will in all likelyhood reject your offer if say you are $500-1000.00 light on the buy out price. Then they will ship it to auction and get $1500.00-2000.00 less than you offered, plus pay auction and transport fees???
Corporate giant GM, dumb as a rock?

the best thing I ever learned is that you can negotiate the buy out lease price..I never knew that. When I worked at ray catena mercedes a duse in the finance dept. taught me that. I bought out my Jeep GC for $7500 and they were originally asking $11,250.
