Default Help,CONTENT THEFT ALARM

I lock doors using the remote, then about a half hour later, horn starts beeping?Truck was not entered just starts honking by itself. ThanksAny reset feature?I turned truck on and then back off,closed door, hit lock on remote, and then about a half hour later it did it again, horn started beeping?

This happened to a friend's BMW. It did not stop so she had to take it in. I think it wasn't to do with the remote, the problem was on the actual vehicle.

Last time that happened to me, I finally found my lost remote in the bottom of the couch.

Are the interior lights on when this happens? If they are, it could indicate one of the switches on your doors is loosing contact with the door and therefore the interior light comes on and the alarm thinks someone has opened a door. A cheap quick check.
