Check your fuse in fuse box, in engine compartment.

I have a leak near my driver door, and water will sometimes get behind the seat hearer and it'll act crazy. It'll shut on and off and go thru all the settings. When it dries it's 100% normal

I'm hearing the seats need a flash update eventually. I have it quoted from a local GM dealer for 100 bucks.

I never heard about it before. It's good to know. Hopefully I will not need it. But why and how is heated seats system could be updated electronically? Do dealership try to do it through car computer?

Other GM's vehicles Escalade's for sure have a problem with the connector under the passenger seat that controls the heated seats. It does not make good connection within the connector and melts the plastic and heats the metal causing contact problems. If this is your problem and it is not too bad you can unplug it squeeze the female contact down a little tighter and that could be enough to fix it. If the connector is melted bad enough you may have to replace both side or just solder wires together with no connector. If you find the connector and it is melted it should be obvious when you look at either side of the connector after unplugging it. It may be melted badly enough it won't unplug. I don't have any pics.
