Default Heated Seat Problem

Every time I get out of my '07 H3 the seat heater button turns on high. I'm a big guy and I guess the plastic cover over the seat controls presses down as I exit. This means that after I get down the road my butt is on fire. As we all know it is impossible for a big guy to reach the controls with the door closed so I either have to stop or open the door while driving. Can the heater be disabled? I was hoping that maybe there's a plug I could pull.

Thumbs up

under the seat there are wires and u can probably unplug but u will probably lose control of everything the seat does if not check the manual and see what fuse is linked to the seat and pull the fuse , thats all i can think of .keep checking back and maybe some 1 else will no for sure about it, this is just a guess,i have a 06 and if i open the back door on drivers side i can see the wires and its plugged in so thats why i assume u can just unplug but like i said everything will most likely go,u decide good luk

That switch pops off...that may be a quick fix, but not sure...may look funny too.

I think that was a somewhat common problem and Hummer made a "Fix-it" kit for the buttons.
