Default H3 from Oz

Gidday guys. Thought you might be interested in how we go in Aussie with the H3. Got mine in October 07 and have fitted a 4" Rancho kit with 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ's on 17" rims and GME UHF. Am currently finishing off a cargo barrier with a turbo going on in the next week as well as a dual battery.

Idea is to set it up as a 2 person tourer but we also get off orad for fun as you can see in the pics.

Sounds interesting but I don't see any pics. Try to post the pics again. Welcome to the forum. How do you like the Rancho lift. I have talked to several people that said they thought it rode pretty rough.

Hi 3hummers..hope it works this time. I have been very pleased with the rancho kit. Ground clearance is good and I find the ride much like original. I had expected more body roll but it didn't eventuate.

I am new to forums and not having much luck with getting the pics on. I uploaded them and it said it was ok but they dont seem to show. Any suggestions??

Pics came through the second time. Glad because I am the original technological dinosaur and am not much use when it comes to advising people how to do stuff like that. I see you already have the Rocky Road Sliders. Truck looks great. Glad to see you are already out playing in it.

Welcome..........

Rancho lift and Mickeys....Damn, that must be standard issue from Hummer for their down under customers.....

I wonder if that is the same Off Road Park Skippy was romping about in?

You haven't seen this guy aroundhave you?

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Doc you are looking at it from the wrong side...you have be down under to get the right perspective!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a Predator Winch system on their H3?

The local accessory guys here are pretty slow getting aftermarket gear organised. They are only bringing 2,000 a year into Oz so it isn't a high priority for them. With all due respect, the brushguards don't really look like they would handle being hit by a kangaroo. ARB are working on a steel bullbar but I haven't seen what it looks like yet.

Hi Gunner

Skippy uses the same mechanic as I do and duplicated my set up.They say being copied is the greatest compliment.

Unfortunately Skippy has had some trouble keeping his rig in one piece. I just wish when people talk about "the #$%@head in the Hummer at Landcruiser" they would nominate a colour to differentiate us.

But seriously I am really happy with the H3 and the offroad performance.
