Hi Guys,

Just a quick update on the arrival of my ride...... it has arrived!!!!! So far so good, but i still don't have it, what this means is that it is sitting at the docks awaiting ADR (Australian Design Regulations) checks which according to my dealer could be an unknown period of time.

Some cars delivered last month were being held due to mud flaps not being on the car (an aussie regulation, along with fender flares) with some owners still awaiting their cars which have been sitting at the docks for over a month. I would love to hear from any other Aussies that might have this same problem.

I guess i just need to bottle up the excitement of the new car for that little while longer, but it's hard knowing it's so close yet so far, especially since it was my christmas present for myself

Haiminger......... in regards to after market parts, at this stage there are mainly agents for the US companies that sell cosmetic after market parts rather than the off road kind. I am sure it is only a matter of time though.

 

It's good to know that your H3 has arrived. Once you drive it home, you won't regret how long you've waited for it.

 

Well my car finally arrived!!! And on Christmas Eve, I was so stoked i was kinda dis interested in anything else that santa was going to bring me this year.
I have taken the car on a few runs and have clocked over 1500kms on it in the few weeks.
I have to admit i was a little shocked by the mobbing affect that people have to the car, and can't really stop anywhere without getting questions about it...... I would love to get into contact with any other people from down under that have received their toys and are ready to get them dirty......
On the weekend my girlfriend and i decided to tackle the first few rocks and mud with it, and will be planning a trip to Cape York in the dry season (The most northern tip of Aus)
Anyway, i have attempted to attach a pic, so lets see if it works.

Glad it finally showed up. You will love it. Pretty soon you will have undercarriage protection, rock sliders, off road tires and will have added all the same type mods that we have. Post pics of your off road excursions.

wow, flaps and flares are required? hmmm, if I lived down under I might have to break the law as I don't like the look of either...

(although one look at some of those women on the beach probably would make me comply LOL)

 

Glad you finally got it!!!!! Santa rules... Looks real good, get used to the questions and the stares; just enjoy the ride.
Now comes the mods...(oh you will add mods, street or off road). Once you put on the first mod, you're hooked. [sm=drooldude.gif]
