Default H3 gas hood lift supports

Does anyone know if there is a heavy duty gas hood lift support (gas shock) that will handle the weight of the new Hood Louver I installed? I installed a Defenderworx Hood Panel that weighs ~ 22 lbs. and the hood will not stay open with the current stock gas shocks. Appreciate any ideas thanks.

I had the same issue with my H2 after adding dual ladders. You'll need to go to liftsupportdepot.com and enter in the specs of the oem ones and then find an equivalent that supports more pounds

Thats alot of weight in chrome!
Tired hood supports will fail to keep the hood open with extra weight on it so worst case get new hood supports (will sure be better than 10 year old supports if you never replaced em). Wont probably last as much but not very expensive!
