noreastkiwi im have a 06 h3 with a cracked case do you have the dealer info of the dealer that fixed your truck. the local dealers here have nver heard of that problem . thank you chris

 

I got left on the side of the road last week with a cracked tranny. 105,000 miles on my 2007 H3 with adventure package. Supposed to pick up tommorrow at the tune of $3400. Significant mileage offroad on timberland tracts and surface mine sites.

Well, just got a call from the dealer. looks like another $785 to replace the transfer case

I also have the hot floor...

Did't feel it before, but as I had 2 months before water on my floor (Moon roof drainage blocked) and need to dry the carpet....I recognized that the water was actually so hot that you could burn your skin.

I hope that a Billy Boat exhaust (next planed modification) without the front muffler can help cooling down this area....or I will think about a better heat shield.
