Please help..any advice appreciated. I have had the sunroof drains cleared 2weeks ago they(dealership) told me the back cargo carpet was wet as a residual effect from the drains clogged. They kept the car another day and claimed to have dried it all up. Discovered it is soaked AgAin. I pulled up the Hummer labeled trim, put hand under and water drips from carpet......front passenger carpet(up under dash) is damp as well......argh!

 

I have a 2008 Alpha and have not had the drain issue yet. I tried something new and probably a mistake, but I used a shop vac to suck whatever out of the drain holes. Got some leaf debris.... Anyway.....I'm sure you paid a large amount to have the dealership clean the drains. Take it back in and demand they rectify the situation and have them look at the sunroof seal, which i'm sure you would hear wind noise if there was an issue. Doesn't sound like you got what you paid for.... Good luck!!

 

you must pull the carpet and dry it thoroughly or two problems; 1 mold and musty smell will develop.
2 the metal floor will rust away in time, ive had it happen in other cars.
