How much would shipping run you per wheel from NYC to Austria?

I have a set of 5 stock H3 wheels with stock tires that have about 15k miles on them. I was considering mounting snow tires on them, but that's another project way down on the checklist.

The purchase cost combined with the shipping cost....wouldn't it be prohibitive?

 

Shipping would cost about 30$ per wheel.
But i can arrange that! You would only have to wrap them and wait for the guy who picks them up!

How much are you looking for a set of 4 eith centercaps but without tyres?

PhilB, don't do the PayPal thingy. It's great for the buyer but not the seller. The charges can be reversed and taken out of your account if the buyer says they never recieved the item/items.

Get a money order or Western Union and make sure that everything clears before you send anything overseas! Ask me how I know this!


Zinni, no offence to you but I have had a bad overseas deal once or twice and I'm just trying to protect PhilB. I'm sure you are a stand up guy, BUT you only have 3 posts here and they are all in the same thread.

I'd like to help you out if you can keep it simple.

If you have a guy/person that's going to pick up the wheels, then you can Western Union or Paypal with him and work out the shipping, mounting, dismounting and packing with him. No need for me to be in the middle of any of that.

My deal is $475 for the 5 wheels and tires (tires are mounted on the wheels) and 4 center caps. Your guy/person pays me cash upon pickup. Payment is in US dollars only, $20s or smaller, no checks, money orders, IOUs or anything else. The bills will be checked for counterfit. Your person takes the wheels when he pays me. He doesn't negotiate with me, $475 is the deal. If he takes $474 out of his pocket, or doesn't show within 10 minutes of the agreed meeting time, I leave.

If you're interested, I'll let you know where the shopping center parking lot is that your guy can meet me at.

I only need 4 wheels and only the rims without tyres. Well it wouldn't be a problem but shipping will be significantly more expensive if there are 5 wheels with tyres mounted... My offer would've been that you keep 1 wheel and the tyres but I don't know if you want to dismount them?

As I don't have a local guy I'd choose a western union or paypal or bank transfer (whatever you prefer) payment. The only guy I can send is the guy of the shipping company (dhl)
