I need to research the 07's a bit more.... I didn't have a real detailed look at the vehicle (as I am awaiting their offer for the CX9)...... However I was not aware that you could get a rear spare tire carrier for it? This one had the Tire mounted on a seperate tube A frame gate on the back. Is that common?

Also no Sunroof and had the really big overhead console which came almost parellel with the drivers head.........

I should have looked at the MFG sticker on the inside of the door.. but I was chatting, and it was raining on us....... when I go back I will do the full inspection of the vehicle.

yes the newer ones came with a rear tire carrier....I think in 07 and 08' it is standard to be on the outside....
no sunroof is sometimes a good thing.....it will never leak!!! Trust me I should know...my 05' sprung a leak...and it isn't fun to deal with......

 

Thanks SF... good to know!! However, I wonder if it is removable.. I may have to remove it.

That overhead console is huge...... I would prefer the sunroof.... Cleaner that way. Luckily we have very few rainy days here in cali.... however one of them was today.

Funny thing is I am getting a hummer and it will be my commute car... almos 80 miles per day.... of course all freeway driving......... with only one large hill..... and it is a big one.. Sunol grade....

Hopefully I can eek out 15mpg....

yah whenever we think abt HUMMER our main idealogy revolves around features bcoz it is very unique from every aspects .H is having microcontrolled shok absorbants,that mean it judges automatically the height of the tyre above the gnd and succesfully able to manage the proper balance.Each shoker is totally controlled by the microprocessor......and another factor which is very unique in this ,ie..its gnd clearence its meant for tough roads.u can run smoothly on 85 degrees yah its very close to 90 degrees...reason is the same behind all these qualities,seprate control of each wheel and suspentions is entirely controled by the microprocessor..

 

So I have a broker trying to find me an 06 or 07 or and 08 at auction to see if he can get me a slamming deal...

I decided not to get that 07 base model.... that overhead console was too big to ignore. I am going for one with a Lux package... I like the sunroof...... especially here in Cali.


However if I don't get the right deal I will be holding off for a year or so, and will aim for an 08 model. I really like the new cab interior....... Really the cherry on top, and I am willing to wait a year to get a great deal on one.

I just purchased a used 03 hummer with 67,000 from a local dealship for about $14,999....So far so good. I've had it for about 4 months now.

when i went to the dealership yesterday they offered my brother $4,000 towards a used h2 for his 04 mountaineer with 65,000 miles . quite rediculous. after he complained they said o ok $5,000 .it is in excellent condition btw
