when you guys figure all this out, let us know, I have tried different chips, really haven't helped much, I was thinking about the hypertech, I will let BOB do it first!!

 

I started my own thread about the chip, sorry i didnt see this.. so far im averaging 11.2 mpg on one of the ebay "chips" - on the 04 h2 it mus be plugged into the thermostat circut, which is said the send signals to the main cpu, which will then put out more horepower, and better mpg results. So, again, I reset my computer to get fresh data, and it says im averaging 11.2mpg, and the instant economy button reads that I can average 18-24mpg on the highway on speeds up to 60mph.

My problme is that I never recorded data prior to the chip, so unless you kind people on the forums post what your getting OEM - im gonn have to take the chip out, reset the computer, and drive another 500+ miles to get a accurate reading.. ha. Any help? Anyone?? Thanks in advance.

 

Heres the low down:

I had the following

Hypertech - ease of programming and de-programming. About 30 some hp or so.

Superchips - better than hypertech - a little more hp.

Pretator Raptorq - 65ish hp. Send computer to them. Better throttle response, shifting, etc than the rest.
