The only chip we have seen that would actually improve performance is made by JET. They are not cheap. But will improve throttle response, possibly gas milage and shifting. performance can be enhanced better by combining a few additions to your H3 such as the chip, air intake, and a good catback exhaust.

You can always pay a core charge for a new programmed computer, then once things are switched out send the orignal back for your core return. The guys that program the PC can better fine tune one to your needs. I find the JET chip easier. But the Programmed PC is a better overal performer. Each has its perks and downfalls.

JET chips do not perform as well as programmed PC, but can be removed easily when taking your truck in for service. You don't want to give your dealer a reason to deny you anything! While the programmed PC is tuned specifically for YOUR truck and not all H3's, the dealer could always re flash your PC placing it back to factory settings and waisting your cash and time.

Its a give and take. But stay away from any other IN LINE chip not made by JET. They can do more harm than good. Or just as bad, do nothing at all and your out some cash.

You should be looking at a re-programmed PCM by PCM4less. What you are looking at is a joke.

I thought so. You never know where you are going to find a good deal. Would PCM4less be able to help me? I have a CAI with an air scoop and a spintech exhaust. I already get + 2-3 mpg and have good throttle response would the reprogram help? Thanks!!!

im new around here and i dont have a superchips for the h3 yet but i do plan on buying one. I had one on my old truck and it was amazing, i set my timing 3 degrees in advance turned off the throttle restriction, and was running the 93 performance setting. I was adding about 35 - 40 hp at the crank and 15 to 20 at the wheels with a 2mpg increase.

+1 on PCM4less, they've built a great reputation here over the years on this forum as well as for GM overall.

If you live near their shop, you can also have a custom tune done. Otherwise, tell them what Mods you've done and new tire size and order a semi-custom tune.

EFILIVE is the only way to go. Do it yourself, do it right, do it how you want it, do it again after any mod you do, do it as often as you want, go back to stock as often as you want.

If you want to do more of that make sure your muscle car’s engine will come to life more quickly. I always heard good about PCD but never know their quality in terms of performance chips and others but many says they have hummer engine chips.
