Finally installed my headlight projector. Now i'm comfortable driving at night with good visibility and without blinding oncoming traffic.

I've used Morimoto FX-R 3.0 projector, Apollo 3.0 shroud and 55W AC HID kit with D2H ceramic base 5000K bulb. Painted with Rust-Oleum matte high heat paint.

I'm happy with the way it came out especially with the cut-out. Here's some pics and road test vids. The video doesn't do justice with the light output.

 

I watched the whole video. 8 minutes man, you're killing me! But, it was good to see how they performed driving around. Those are so much better than the stock housings...

When your highs kicked on, I thought you switched on your fogs. Those are really impressive!

I see projectors on a ton of other newer vehicles, but wasn't sure how well they worked in comparison to the stock H2 headlights. Talk about a contrast!

I know you've been through a few different headlight setups. Is this your favorite or will you consider upgrading again?

 

SK, glad you liked my 8 mins vids...lol! To be clear, those we're not the high beam instead it's the 4 Hella roof lights. I did test the high beam at the end of the video though and it's great.

This is the last headlight setups that i will ever need for this truck and i'm quite happy with the result. I actually installed XSB 2.0 halos inside the projector shroud that worked with the DRL but, after ON for 5 mins. some corner of the halos won't light up anymore and i don't want to dismantle the headlight anymore so i just disconnected it.

cutting off the headlight housing and the bucket to almost half to fit the massive morimoto fx-r 3.0 projector. i still have to find a way to completely seal the back of the projector as i do take my truck off road.

 

If you can, post some pics of how you sealed it.

Fixed and replaced the faulty Morimoto XSB 2.0 halos.

you most have wire schematics for the front stock headlamps. the last owner did a very bad job on the headlights I need to fix them.

if you do please post the schematic here. I look all over i can not find one
