H1 Restoration
ORIGINAL: Injunfarian
Those are some nice looking campers. I personally would love to have a setup similar to that but without all the seats instead an actual mini RV type thing would be great for expeditions or even long trips on the road. Not to mention if you come home with another Hummer and wife kicks you out you can sleep with the dogs in your RV H1

Thanks Cliff.

Injun, I can talk to Mike if you want those. I think you might have to come down to pick them up. Not sure shipping is an option.

My advice, if you plan to do complete "like new" restorations with authentic parts:
1) Sell off both of those trucks
2) Buy a newish truck in mint condition
It will be cheaper. The cost of new parts for the OEM interior and all the driveshafts, etc will add up so fast it will make your head spin.
If I were you, I would only fix what needs fixing for the trucks to operate properly, and live with the rest while you look for bargains on used interior parts, etc.
Good luck!

Manny, he says he can't import a vehicle over a year old into Egypt. He might not have the option of buying newer trucks. It sounds like, based on the value of the vehicles over there, that this isn't a bad route to pursue.

I will never find newer H1s in Egypt. I don't think there are more than a dozen H1s in Egypt, maybe less and I already have three of them.

These three H1s I bought were used for desert safari tours.
It is possible to do it for Egypt and I am sure for other countries as well.
You can import it into Canada and keep it registered there and simply keep it in the US........it should be possible.
