Hey guys,
Am thinking of buying an H1 or a humvee... the only thing putting me off is the interior quite frankly. So am wondering, has anyone had any experience with these guys ? Do their interior kits bolt straight in to either the H1 or the HMMV ? I know they're not cheap, but am looking for some guidance.

I really like the alpha interior but those trucks are a bit above my budget!

I don't know anything about those interiors. Best to ask them. The AMG Alpha interiors are not a direct install on older trucks. Mounting holes are in different locations in many cases.

All that's been confirmed for me so far is that the AVA kit is designed to bolt directly into factory holes on humvees. They haven't come back to me on H1.

Alternatively, locally to me there's a pretty good upholsterer who does custom interior. The results look quite good.

I have seen a lot of custom work on Hummers out of Russia that looks to be top notch. I have heard of Humbuilt but have no personal experience with them.

 

Looks to me like the humbuilt domain is available, so maybe he's out of business, or closed down. Shame, I am hoping just to be able to buy the kit, get it customised (albeit alpha style) and then i will look to take down an older H1.

I would have thought others would have offered such parts to be frank.
I love the h1 from the outside, but the inside on the older ones kills me.
I even found a reasonably priced duramax conversion, but the interior was in such bad shape i had to walk away.

 

AMG is selling the C series interior with an Alpha like interior in China. Maybe the will sell a C series interior.

 

Believe it or not, i tried to speak to the european and the lebanese dealer for the C-Series, to see what gives... got zero response on this. All people seem to be able to tell me is that in china they are going for $100k+

To be honest, even the C-series i saw on the video on youtube didn't look very nice.


I'd settle for something like the below any day!
