Greetings From GM Customer Service
I own a 2005 Custom H2.
Beautiful custom Hummers, 500 were made in 2005/06. I own number 500.
I cannot get any assistance on any level with this truck. Parts cannot be matched to stock as it's "after market" BUT was sold by dealerships/GM.
Can anyone help me here?
Does anyone in the group own one of these?
Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tricia,
Have a listen to this sound file right here.

Now honestly tell me if ANY vehicle should sound like a 30 year old washing machine, let alone a $55k vehicle. It's an intermittent problem that comes and goes, it has been in for service at least three times for this issue, my warranty is about to run out, and the dealer insists they cannot find anything wrong.
At this point I honestly feel like the dealership has no idea how to properly diagnose these vehicles and is blowing smoke at me because I've become an annoyance since I want my vehicle fixed right.
I'm ready to take it somewhere, pay to have them figure out whats wrong, so I can have the dealer fix it. Does this make any sense at all?
Also, it's nearly impossible to get a hold of someone at your company for help.
Let's say I go here:
GM - Contact Us - Main Page
I click Hummer, oh, well its only for H1's and H2's, guess I'm out of luck.
So then I go back, click GMC, and select the email option because I don't have time to waste on the phone for the next hour. The window opens, I select "I have a question on my current vehicle", and boy let me tell you how glad I am at the wide array of vehicle selections I have to choose from in the form such as "Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3".
For the love of god you're the number one auto manufacturer in the USA and the second in the world behind Toyota, and your website is a frustratingly difficult mess that makes it impossible for people to get the help they need.
This isn't Newegg selling $200 computer parts, or Amazon, who by the way have far better customer support than you do. This is a company selling people vehicles worth thousands of dollars and many of us feel left out in the cold.

OK, so I contacted Tricia and she responded quickly and referred me to the closest, (50 miles away!) service center/dealer.
Anderson Pontiac/GMC, hours say they open Sat. at 8am, just called (8:40) no answer. Not a good sign!
I will keep trying and let you know what happens.
BUT, I'd give Tricia a break here as I believe she IS with GM.

Tricia, Michelle, Peggy, ETC are NOT employed by GM. They are employed by a Public Relations firm hired by GM.
Thanks for the clarification. How do u know this?
At any rate the dealer could not help os they only deal with OME.
So, the answer is that the part is actualy part of the after market supercharger kit which was made by Magnuson. I'll order the part tomorrow.
Even thought this was a series of Hummers that were sold by dealers, GM now has no records and the vin doesn't help as that's for OME only.

That's the part that sucks about "dealer mods" or "special dealer additions". If the dealer isn't around anymore you don't have any warranty on those "special" parts. Magnuson should be able to assist you. I have heard from another H2 owner with the Magnuson supercharger that they are a pretty "stand up company". Post ups some pix of your FOX rigs in another thread.

For pics, take a look in my garage, let me know what u think.
