Well said Dennis, we seem to have a problem lately with new members "doggin' the product with there first few posts. Hopefully we deal with it all in good fun. There are volumes of information on this forum as well as many experienced members that can help people with their decisions to buy any Hummer for on or off road or both.Just ask away!

I understand your points Dennis and Obie. I was very active in a CTS Forum and it bugged me when guys would try to trash the CTS. I'll play fair.

I saw headers mentioned a couple of times but I couldn't find any one selling them. Has anyone bought or looked at the B&B "dual exhaust"?

Headers are a tough one to find for the I5..But a lot of us has done the cat-back exhaust up grade, along with a CAI and PCM tune..we are getting about 20 to 30 more HP from those mods combined.

What brand of Cat-back?..IMO there is no one brandthat offers better performance over the others...cost drives me and the least expensive for the money was the Gibson...Still sounds great and looks great.and performs great...

I did find a SuperCharger but the $5,000 price tag was beyond me means.

Dennis, does the Gibson have any snap, pop, drone or excessive noise?

You know you have an exhaust on take offs and heavy throttle, but at cruising altitudes the exhaust is almost silent like the stock system..I'm very pleased with the sound overall..

I have the B&B. Mine is the older version with different tips. The sound is OK. IfI had to do it again I'd probably get Dennis's exhaust.

Well this noob isn't going to dog on the H3! I'm pleased as punch with mine, this coming from a former C5 vette and Dodge Cummins owner. Is the power lacking some? yeah, but from what I'm reading, it's fixable to a certain degree. I have done about 1500 miles on mine in less than 2 weeks (it's my oilfield vehicle). I haul a lot of test equipment in it and have to drive down a lot of bad roads (at a rig site right now). I plan to do some of the minor power upgrades, but nothing radical. I have my H3 set up with mats in the back (seats down) to protect the interior and my long barrels fasten to the roof racks. I have a hitch basket that carries my Pelican cases. I'm seeing about 17.5 mpg at 70 mph with this load and extra wind resistance. The oilfield workers have been swarming around the H3 in a truck dominated environment and 99% of the comments have been positive. I bought this after driving the new JK 4dr Jeep and finding out that the Rubicons are unavailable. I'm glad I ended up with the H3! It's hwy manners are better and after my last DC experience, I didn't want to jump right back in....

Here's my H3 the weekend I got it...

That's gotta be the widest set of pictures I've ever seen on this forum[sm=insomnia.gif]
Although a picture of a fine H3 specimen.

Nice pics, and great color! Do you get any flack from the friendly police about your rear license plate being covered?
