Default Front tow hook removal

Hello everyone,

I ordered a grille guard off eBay and it requires the removal of the tow hooks from the frame to insert the bracket in between. I unbolted the tow hooks from the frame but I can't get them to budge. Is there another bolt on the inside of the bumper holding it? If so, how am i supposed to access it? Thanks for the help!

Yea, the fastener is a pain to get back in. I managed to do it, but it was pure luck I believe.

There is a bolt on the back of the d hook brace. In process of drilling it out. Im not taking the full bumper removal route.

Got the job done. I just drilled out the bolts and filled the holes with black silicone. Hardly noticeable. Better than removing the whole bumper.

Looks like you and I ordered from the same people on Ebay. I decided to go with the solid black. Not bad for $189 shipped to my door.
