Default Tow Hook Replacement

Hey Guys. I Just got a set of Chrome Tow Hooks to replace my stock ones. But I cant find an easy way to do the swap in the front. Looks like the factory built the truck around the hooks!

Anyone here done this yet?

Unless, you have an early build with the hex bolt attached to the back, its' just three bolts. The one connecting the D-ring, and the two into the frame.

Slightly more than that - remove the D-ring bolt, remove the two outer bolts and then there's a hex bolt in the middle. Early 06s (all 06?) had that bolt come in from the back side of the bumper and it doesn't show in the front. My 07 H3 has the hex bolt in the middle hidden by the D-ring bolt.

Oooooo. Ok.

I thought there was a nut on the back of the two main bolts... Didn't even think to take the D-ring bolt out. Thanks guys!
