Default Front end jumps around turns!

Any of you experience "tire bounce/jumping" when goin around rough turns? I recently took my grease gun w/needle tip to all the ball joints, outer tie rods, and sway bar linkages. That improved my handiling tons, but still get a weird bounce (almost out of control) when taking hard turns mostly down or up hills that are on rough pavement i.e. pot holes. Cant seem to think what it could be??????? I still have plans to replace the front axle cross member bushing as well as the steering rack bushings, but could that be the problem. Also took silicone spray to every rubber bushing under the front and rear end.

Love my 3 even with all its quirks! Its a solid built machine thats fun to drive and really turns heads!

Drove my normal route to work again today and didnt notice any shift to 4high. Vehicle turns fine so I dont think its the 4X4. In my best expertise I would say its a suspension/steering issue, just hoped some experienced folks here might know the problem and or if other are experiencing the same thing.
To be more clear, this bouncing happens between 20-30mph around turns. It is almost like when your driving your truck unloaded and the back bounces around because it is too light! Maybe its shocks that need to be changed??????? or perhaps its just the fact that this is a 4X4 and thats how it performs,,,,,,anybody????

All 4x4's will hop or skip in tight fast turns when gassing them, mine just did it today. I wouldn't be concerned. Also, I have about 300-400lbs of weight in the back and mine still does it.

Mine did the same thing and I complained to the dealer a couple times but they thought I was being paranoid and said an alignment and tires would solve it. Well it did for the most part but I would still get that hop skip around bumpy turns. It felt totally unsafe.....UNTIL I cranked the torsion bars and gave myself some clearance between the bump stops and lower a arms. Problem solved. If you haven't leveled your truck I'm thinking your front end might of sagged enough to have the bump stops resting on the lower a arm(should be an 1/8"-1/4" gap if I'm not mistaken). Just my theory, but I think im on the right track and all I know is that crazy bounce is gone. Good luck

"didnt notice any shift to 4high.[/QUOTE]
what do u mean by this??
u should be in 4 hi,NOT 4hi lock.
it doesnt shift modes, u do. are u sure you're not in hi lock?

this business of ALL 4X4 jumping around is more bs. ive had 2 h3's and they dont do it in open mode,so drake is making stuff up again!!.
when i play in lock mode in my back yard/field i can feel it digging some dirt.
it just does not do it in open mode

drtom we are not talking about "limited slip" chirps this is a different type of "bounce" It feels very much like suspension not drive train. Again its the same type of bounce you would get if you were to drive your pick up truck down a bumpy hill and experiened the back axel bounce and jump around.
So Drake you are on the money with this one!!! I have a funny feeling it is related to the steering?????? When I bought this 3 it had a major alignment problem (evidence: front passenger tire bald on the outer edge, and right rear tire too). They had to replace the inner tie rods! So perhaps the steering gear is loose??
Thanks for sharing all of your stories out there!
