Does anyone know which font HUMMER logo is?

 

I'm about 99 percent sure that the font that GM used is a custom font that is not generally available to the public. I went through each of the standard fonts and came up with something that is close but it's not exact.

The name of the font that looked closest to me was "Franklin Gothic Heavy". It's close but still not exact.

It looks the closest when you bold it. Here is an example of it. I hope it translates on the message board:

Yeah, It's a GM only font.

I bought HUMMER decals off E-bay, They came with a GM tag on them.

 

I know this is a ten-year-old, dead thread, but the answer provided didn't exactly match the original font.

Using Adobe Illustrator, I found the matching font. It doesn't appear to be a GM font. Just obscure. The font name that matches the "HUMMER" badging is "Antique Olive Nord D"
