Hey Everyone,

I received an e-mail from "Your Hummer Team" yesterday that has the standard marketing stuff to buy a new GM vehicle and pointing me to dealers where I can get service.

The thing this I found odd about this message:

1) This is the first e-mail I have received from Hummer since purchasing my '08 H3 in 2011. It is specifically from Hummer

2) One of the sections is titled "What's New With Hummer?" That's an easy one.... absolutely nothing!!!!

3) It would appear that GM is still running some kind of Hummer of the Month contest on Facebook.

Did anyone else get this message yesterday? And why is GM suddenly paying attention to Hummer again? For the most part General Motors has treated Hummer like a wicked step child since they discontinued the brand. They barely acknowledge that they manufactured them.

 

They want to sell new vehicles and are hitting up people with older GM vehicles.

It's a fishing expedition.

 

Tainter hit the nail on the head. They think it is time you showed them the loyalty they denied you by buying another new GM vehicle.

 

It didn't work. I'll keep my H3.
