Press and hold the side of the mirror adjustment button. ( right side if I remember correctly )

 

Here, from the manual:







If it still doesn't work, then the mirrors are probably broken. Unfortunately VERY COMMON occurance with the '03-'05 models. They changed the mirrors COMPLETELY in 2006. If you still had warranty, they would install the NEW STYLE mirrors for no charge!!

or if your fiancee drives way too close to a truck the passenger one will fold in quite quickly....
