Default Firewall fitting? Drain grommet?

After a recent servicing and I noticed this fitting on the firewall on the passenger side. I am crossing my fingers this may be a factory blank for a pass through to the dash. Anyone know if it is?

When you have a sunroof, that is where it drains, unless of course it gets plugged up with crud.

Just found out it is the AC condenser drain. after driving it yesterday home from work with the AC on max, I looked under the hood and seen water dripping from it and it was ice cold. Does the sunroof drains drain into same tube?

The sunroof drains exit behind the plastic fender liners, front and back.
