You might want to look at Doc's air intake, I have'nt seen the specs on Volant's but Doc's pipe looks bigger & from what I've seen is cheaper even after buying a aftermarket filter. I went w/ the Airdoc ($160 w/ shipping) & K&N filter ($50) the best I've seen on Volant is $250 +shipping.

Jon
I installed the Volant CAI in my 08 H2 a couple of weeks ago. I noticed a change in sound and a slight gain in pep. So far, no improvement in mpg. I'm installing the Magnaflow cat back this weekend.

Nice job Tackleberry. Looks great. Did mine this weekend too. Took about 1 hour. Why so long? The instructions said you "might" have to cut the tail pipe off the stock assembly to be able to remove. Well, I did. I used a hand saw so it took a while. Love the new sound!

I do like the new sound. Between the cold air intake and the Volant cat-back system, the 3.5L I5 sure has a new depthness to the exhaust tone.

I don't know why they post those sound bites. Believe me, they are worthless. No comparison to the real thing!
