Default Exhaust smell in cab

Hey guys. I'm getting an exhaust smell in the cab of my '07 H3. It's been doing it for a while and I had an exhaust leak from my exhaust manifold gasket so I replaced that but I'm still getting the smell in the cab. Where does the fresh air intake for the ac/heat come from? Anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

Fresh air enters the vehicle from the cowl area.

Quick update. It turns out that my Magnaflow header cracked at the junction where the 5 pipes come together. The exhaust was leaking and if I had my AC in the vent or "fresh air" setting, it was pulling the exhaust in from the cowl area (when the vehicle was not moving). Yes, it's been this way since December but I don't drive the Hummer that often and I'd just keep the AC on "recirculate". It sounded like hell but I've been too lazy or busy to fix it. It should be under warranty but MF and Amazon have been giving me the run around so I'm moving on and fixing it myself. Not happy with either of these companies.
