Everyday H2 use?
I realize some of you have "mall crawlers", and really don't take your H2's off-roading. I'm cool with that -- to each their own.
Is the H2 suitable for everyday use? I'd love to take it off-roading, have it haul my Jetskis, boats, kayaks, etc... but I'm worried about everyday use. People are telling me they're unsuitable for this task. I pretty much want to use it for, well... everything. Between going to the store, driving to school (for the next few years, this will be the most I do with it), off-roading, hauling, etc... is it honestly suitable? How many of you drive your hummers every day?
Furthermore, how reliable are they?
Thanks!

What actually would be the difference between a Hummer H2 or a Yukon, Tahoe, Escalade. The Hummer is "based" off of a Tahoe platform, just as the H3 is Trailblazer. I just think of my H2 as a Tahoe on steroids. Of course, I wouldn't take a Tahoe where my Hummer goes. Our H2 was our daily driver til I got the Mustang. When the old Missouri weather gets crappy again, I'll be in the Hummer.

The H2 frame actually share only similarities with a suburban 2500 frame in the rear with a front section from a 2500 hd pick up with its own unique centercection that is fully boxed, frame wise. Like 85-305 said. there is a reason that tahoes have 6 lug axles and the H2 has 8 lug. It bigger gvwr weight rating is a give away that they dont share the same frame.
