Tow rings

Just got my H3 last week, and had a rattle at about 1000RPM and nowhere else. Knowing this was a resonance rattle didnt help calm my OCD. Tracked it to my front right D-Ring. Left was tight enough not to move unless you grabbed it and moved it, right would rattle all to hell in your hand. Had wife hold pedal at 1000RPM while I walked around the truck holding things. As soon as I grabbed the D-Ring, sound vanished. And it sounded like it was comming from behind the glovebox when driving in the vehicle. Nothing a socket wrench couldnt fix in 10 sexonds. Hope you get this lucky !!

Ewilli, any remedy? My 06 H3 with the 64K + Miles on it is making the same noise it seems. I had it fixed once by a dealer in CO and it lasted about 10K miles. I need to figure the problem out as it seems to be getting worse over time. Any other suggestions? To better describe my noise it is rattle at lower RPS's and the sound is louder when going up hills and sounds like metal on metal.
